In TRSA’s “Building a New Plant” virtual roundtable Nov. 30, Arway Linen & Uniform will continue to discuss with industry peers the finer points of opening its new laundry, facilitating a forum in which all participants can benefit from this discussion, relating it to any renovation, expansion or relocation project.
Join industry peers in contrasting the business conditions faced and methods chosen to proceed with such projects. You’ll benefit from the interaction by comparing your preparation for or execution of similar undertakings to Arway’s and others discussed on the Zoom call, contrasting tactics you’ve contemplated or used to re-engineer your business.
Arway is close to occupying its new Philadelphia facility, although an exact 2024 relocation completion date is uncertain. With the new space under Arway management control, they are taking the time needed to start the new operation cost-effectively to keep the project on budget.
Laundry equipment has begun to arrive in the new location and is stored there. Some subcontractor work (electrical, plumbing) still needs to be done. Arway’s Mario Stagliano and Mark Harad-Oaks will be an “open book” in the roundtable about the relocation, answering participants’ questions about most anything to do with it, such as timetable delays, financing, which employees are likely to make the move and anticipated labor-force reduction.
This is the third and final session of TRSA’s 2024 “Building a New Plant” roundtable series, begun in January, with all sessions presented by Stagliano and Harad-Oaks. To register, click here.
