Based on the success of the 2024 Regional Production Summits, TRSA is extending the program into 2025. The summits aim to make industry-specific educational content and networking opportunities accessible to all members by rotating throughout different regions of the U.S. Each TRSA Regional Production Summit will feature the same insightful speakers covering topics such as enhancing emotional engagement, quality control, safety awareness, process improvement through automation, digitalization and technology.
The West Coast Summit will be the first in the series on Jan. 22-23, 2025, at Embassy Suites Arcadia Pasadena in Arcadia, CA, with a plant tour at the Magic Laundry Services plant in Montebello. The Midwest Summit will take place on March 26-27, 2025, at the Embassy Suites Hotel O’Hare in Rosemont, IL. The final Regional Production Summit will be held on Oct. 20-22, 2025, at the Doubletree in Philadelphia, offering plants from the Northeast and East Coast easy access to the summit.
Lisa Ryan, CSP, founder & chief appreciation strategist at Grategy, will deliver a welcome address titled, “The Fabric of Success: How Engaged Employees Drive Business Excellence in Textile Services.” This session will highlight the critical role of an engaged and motivated workforce in achieving exceptional results and sustaining business growth. Attendees will gain practical strategies to enhance employee engagement, boost retention, increase productivity and foster a culture of excellence. By focusing on these areas, businesses in the textile services industry can thrive and set themselves apart from the competition.
General sessions with consistent speakers across all three regions will cover these topics:
- Finishing
- Managing Quality Control
- Safety Awareness
- Automation, Digitalization & Technology
- Facilitated Roundtable Discussions
Closing each summit will be local plant tours per region. Debriefing with plant-management personnel and other tour attendees following the tours allows for comparison of practices and further insight into these efficiently run plants and is always viewed as a highlight of the summit.
Paul Lavallee, market manager for Environ Energy, who this month attended the Northeast Summit, felt the agenda of the summits is strong with effective, knowledgeable speakers. Lavalee added that, “The more we get operators talking about best practices and challenges, the more valuable these events become.”
