Washing Systems Inc. (WSI) welcomed U.S. Rep. Greg Landsman (D-OH) for a legislative plant tour on Nov. 7, offering an inside look at the company’s role as a key supplier to the linen, uniform and facility services industry. The visit gave Rep. Landsman the opportunity to meet with employees, see day-to-day operations and better understand how WSI’s innovations help power its clients’ operations nationwide.
During the tour, WSI leaders showcased how the company uses advanced chemistry and modern technology to improve the cleaning, processing and disinfecting of textiles. Employes explained how these innovations help customers operate more efficiently, meet sustainability goals, and deliver hygienically clean results across the healthcare, hospitality and industrial sectors.
TRSA appreciates Rep. Landsman’s engagement and his interest in learning more about the businesses and workforce that drive the industry forward. Legislative tours like this strengthen relationships between policymakers and TRSA members, helping them to understand the important role the industry plays in local economies and public health.
TRSA looks forward to continuing to highlight the value, innovation and expertise of its members through future plant tours and advocacy opportunities. If you are interested in hosting a legislative plant tour, contact TRSA Advocacy Manager Sean Kearney at skearney@trsa.org.
