TRSA President & CEO Joseph Ricci and several TRSA member operator and supplier partner executives recently shared their insights in an article published in a leading healthcare publication.
The article, titled Chemistry: A driving force behind laundry innovations, is featured online and also was published in the July/August 2025 print issue of McKnight’s Long-Term Care News. The article focused on chemical innovations and their impact on nursing home laundry operations.
“Innovation in chemistry helps us respond to new environmental concerns caused by factors outside our control,” Ricci said in the article. In addition to Ricci, Unitex President David Potack; Ecolab Senior Staff Scientist of Laundry Research, Development and Engineering David Dotzauer, PhD; and Gurtler Industries Senior Vice President of Research and Development and Marketing Steven Tinker were all featured in the article.
