Through its Responsible Supplier Assurance Program (RSAP), TRSA provides a framework for supplier partners to the linen, uniform and facility services industry to demonstrate their commitment to social responsibility, environmental stewardship and supply chain integrity. RSAP was developed by TRSA’s Supplier Partner Council.

“TRSA has long excelled at empowering operator members to showcase the very best of their social and environmental stewardship – demonstrating to the industry and the public what responsible leadership truly looks like,” said Milton Magnus III, CEO of M&B Hangers, Leeds, AL, which received its RSAP certification on Sept. 30. “We were excited to see supplier partners now provided the same platform through the Responsible Supplier Assurance Program.”

Like M&B Hangers, Kannegiesser North America, Minneapolis, also became an RSAP-recognized company on Sept. 30. “Since the founding of the Kannegiesser Group 77 years ago, we have remained committed to ethical and sustainable business practices,” said Phil Hart, president, Kannegiesser North America. “The TRSA Responsible Supplier Assurance Program provides an excellent opportunity for our company to enhance transparency and demonstrate our dedication to supply chain integrity and sustainability. We are proud to be part of this important initiative.”

For Tingue, Peachtree City, GA, RSAP represents more than a certification – it’s a framework for accountability and progress.

“What I like most about RSAP is the accountability it brings to being a responsible citizen of our industry,” said David Tingue, CEO, Tingue, which became RSAP certified on Sept. 30. “It’s easy to ‘talk the talk,’ but RSAP holds us accountable, both internally and externally, to what we say.”

Before committing to RSAP, Tingue’s operations, sales, sourcing and marketing teams aligned on key principles that reflect the program’s value. Tingue’s leadership concluded that RSAP reflects the company’s:

  • Strong commitment to responsible business practices, ethical operations, supply chain integrity and sustainability.
  • Ensures the company meets industry and globally recognized standards for responsible conduct.
  • Focuses its operations on a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
  • Reflects the company’s commitment to be at the forefront of industry best practices.
  • Allows Tingue to be a leader in encouraging other supplier partners to join in providing safe, ethical and sustainable solutions for TRSA members.
  • Echoes Tingue’s investments in being professional, insured and accredited to put customers’ minds at ease.

The RSAP is a movement toward a stronger, more sustainable future for the linen, uniform and facility services industry.

“At M&B, we live by the three ‘P’s’: People, Planet and Profit – always grounded in integrity,” Magnus said. “These principles guide our actions every day and reflect the legacy of our family-owned business. Every hanger we sell is produced in one of our own facilities by team members directly employed by M&B. They know our family, they know our culture and we take great pride in sharing that with TRSA members. We are genuinely grateful to TRSA for offering us this opportunity to champion our values and our work. We encourage all supplier partners to seize this moment, commit to operating responsibly, and proudly tell the industry who you are and what you stand for.”

In addition to Kannegiesser North America, M&B Hangers and Tingue, M+A Matting and WSI also have received RSAP recognition. Questions? Click here for more information on RSAP.
