Continental Girbau West (CG West) hired Lenin Vasquez Rueda as its OPL & industrial laundry sales manager.
In his new role, Rueda manages on-premise and industrial laundry sales efforts within his territory. In doing so, he juggles a variety of duties in addition to sales management, including preparation of monthly sales plans; the creation and execution of strategies for increasing market share; the management of daily inventory reports; and the development of new client relationships. Additionally, Rueda works closely with other CG West teams, including operations, customer success, finance, marketing and service.
“We are pleased to have Lenin as part of our team,” said Tod Sorensen, CG West general manager. “His focus on the on-premise and industrial laundry markets will help build our brands, and create and nurture new clients.”
Rueda, who brings more than 15 years of sales, corporate training and account management experience to CG West – from companies including Andersen by Andersen, Giant RV and Western Pacific Oils – operates from the company’s Santa Fe Springs, Calif., office. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from California State University.
