TRSA is excited to announce an opportunity for dedicated individuals to serve on councils that will work closely with the TRSA Board of Directors, and play a pivotal role in identifying research projects and ongoing initiatives that create member value.
Last month, the TRSA Board of Directors committed additional resources to increase TRSA’s research capabilities and to invest approximately $300,000 annually on initiatives that directly improve member value. The Research and Member Value Councils will each be comprised of seven individuals that reflect TRSA’s diverse membership of local independent, national and international linen, uniform and facility services companies and supplier partners. The councils will convene independently to discuss potential research projects that support advocacy and identify ongoing initiatives to share directly with the Board of Directors.
“These two new councils are critical to TRSA’s mission to expand, promote and protect our industry,” said TRSA Chair Randy Bartsch, Ecotex Healthcare Linen Services. “This is an opportunity for more members to get engaged in the long-term strategic direction of TRSA.”
The Research and Member Value Councils will be selected by the TRSA Board of Directors from interested participants. If you have a strong commitment to the linen, uniform and facility services industry and are eager to share your knowledge and skills to drive industry growth, please submit your interest and a brief statement regarding your expertise to jricci@trsa.org.
In addition, we are looking for alumni of TRSA’s Executive Management Institute (EMI) to participate in the 2025 program in August to lend their expertise and experience to assist in providing real-world case studies for growth and innovation within the industry.
Last year, a special EMI Task Force conducted quantitative and qualitative research to identify opportunities to improve the curriculum and increase participation resulting in updates and additions to the content including the need for more “industry-specific” case studies.
“EMI alumni are the best resource for increasing industry-specific content and interactive discussion amongst the students,” said Joseph Ricci, president & CEO, TRSA. “This is a great opportunity for EMI alumni to re-engage with the program and contribute their professional expertise and experience to help develop our industry’s future leaders.”
If you are interested and available during EMI this Aug. 10-14, please submit your interest to jricci@trsa.org.
Get engaged with your trade association – your expertise and dedication can help TRSA, and our industry achieve new heights in leadership development, member value and industry innovation.
