The Laundry List, Calabasas, CA, added Jonathan Shanley to its engineering and project development team.

At The Laundry List, Shanley will work directly with the company’s sales, engineering, manufacturing, project management and installation teams on facility layouts, CAD and architectural drawings, equipment placement, workflow design, utility coordination and complete project planning.

Before joining The Laundry List staff, Shanley served as a project manager with Tichenor & Thorp Architects in Los Angeles. His background includes commercial projects, clean rooms, pharmaceutical facilities and movie studios. Shanley has a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in architecture from the University of Liverpool.

“As our new-equipment business and partnership with Weishi Laundry Equipment continues to expand, we’re becoming involved much earlier in our customers’ projects, often before the first piece of equipment is ever selected,” The Laundry List said in a news release announcing Shanley’s hiring. “Today, it’s not simply about selling machines. It’s about designing the right facility, optimizing production flow, coordinating utilities and infrastructure, positioning equipment correctly, planning installation, and making sure the entire operation works together. That’s where Jonathan comes in.”
