Shasta Fleet Upgrades Featured in Video
Shasta Linen Supply Inc., Sacramento, CA, recently acquired five electric step vans worth roughly $1 million. In a recent Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) video, Shasta President Noël Richardson describes the smooth adoption of these EV trucks and the successes of this investment.
Over the last six months that the trucks have been in use, Shasta has saved $10,000 in gas and 37,000 lbs. of tailpipe emissions. “It’s great for the environment,” Richardson said. “It’s great for the community. Our philosophy as a business has always been that we want to be a part of this community. And for us, being ‘green’ and working in that area too, goes along with being a good citizen and being a part of the Sacramento community.”
