Shasta Linen Supply, Sacramento, CA, recently marked the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Declaration of Independence by dispatching a specially painted route service truck to commemorate the U.S. semiquincentennial on July 4.

Noël Richardson, president and CEO of Shasta, recalled that in 1976, the company had used a similarly designed truck to mark the U.S. bicentennial. “We did one then, and just the other day I was looking at the old photo and realized it was important for us to again celebrate our great country with a decorated truck,” Richardson said. “We got it on the road on July 2, and the driver said many people are waving and giving him the thumbs up.”
