Simonetti to Retire; Anelli Named New Director of Marketing at Braun
Longtime Director of Marketing at G.A. Braun Pamela Simonetti will retire from her role on July 19. Traci Anelli recently joined the company and will serve as the company’s new director of marketing.
Simonetti has served as Braun’s director of marketing for the past 26 years. In this role, Simonetti’s responsibilities included the development of the strategic planning and full tactical implementation of a wide variety of marketing programs. These programs range from the company’s worldwide corporate communications brand management to advertising, eMarketing and digital platform programs, video production, publicity and public relations programs, exhibit and conference management, and website and sales app development and management.
“Pam has been an integral part of Braun for 26 years,” said JB Werner, CEO, G.A. Braun. “She has done an extraordinary job in marketing Braun in all different facets of media and brand awareness. She is extremely well respected from everyone she has been associated with both internally as well as throughout the industry. I am particularly proud to have been able to work with her over the course of her career here at Braun. Her retirement is certainly well deserved, nonetheless, she will be missed by all of us.”
Throughout her career, Simonetti was active in a number of linen, uniform and facility services industry associations, including TRSA. Prior to her role at Braun, Simonetti served in several marketing and corporate communications positions within Eastman Kodak Co. in Rochester, NY; New York, NY; and Charlotte, NC.
Anelli joined the G.A. Braun staff as its director of marketing in April 2024. Before joining Braun, Anelli was the U.S. marketing & communications manager at Marquardt, a global leader in developing and manufacturing electromechanical and electronic switches and systems for the automotive, power tool and home industries.
“We are excited to have Traci join the Braun team as our new marketing director,” Werner said. “She brings marketing experience from other industrial industries, which is a tremendous asset to the company’s marketing efforts. Pam has done a tremendous job getting Traci up to speed on our industry and we all look forward to working with her to further grow Braun’s brand.”
Anelli graduated from the State University of New York at Fredonia with a bachelor’s degree in communications/video production. She studied journalism abroad at Bond University in Australia and earned a product marketing certificate from Cornell University.
