Expanding employee training and development ranks among the top challenges facing TRSA members, according to a recent survey conducted by TRSA in partnership with Association Laboratory. The findings also highlighted rising labor costs, retention and succession planning as ongoing concerns – underscoring the importance of workforce solutions across the industry.

Why this Matters
Employee training and leadership development are not only top TRSA member priorities – they are also proven drivers of employee engagement and business growth.
“Workforce development continues to be one of the most important issues our members face,” said TRSA President & CEO Joseph Ricci. “Practical training solutions like LevelUp and RSR Quick Start give members proven ways to strengthen their teams and position them for long-term success.”
And TRSA’s workforce support doesn’t stop there. For HR professionals navigating compliance, recruiting and labor-management challenges, TRSA offers the Virtual HR Summit Series. Upcoming sessions include an Oct. 7 session on federal EEO law updates led by an EEOC representative and a Nov. 4 session on wage classifications under new Department of Labor rules. Registrants also receive access to past recordings, such as Finding Talent in Your Backyard, featuring strategies for local recruiting.
