The Roscoe Co., Chicago, announced the promotion of Samantha Lesniak to general manager/COO, effective Jan. 1, 2027.
This move brings to a close the decades-long tenure of Mark Stedman, who will retire at the end of this year, according to a news release. “Samantha has been a key member of the leadership team, working over the last 20 years at Roscoe in Admin, Stockroom, Production and, most recently, as process improvement team leader,” the release, signed by the family owners, James W., Teresa, Julia and Dan Buik, said. “Her drive for continuous improvement and resolving the root cause of issues has made a significant difference across Roscoe.
All of this will serve her well in this new role.”
The release adds that Lesniak will work with Stedman, the current COO, in the coming months to transition her responsibilities and ensure a smooth leadership change before his retirement in 2027.
The Buik family asked Roscoe staff and the industry at large to offer their support to Lesniak as she moves into this new leadership role. “Please join us in congratulating and supporting Samantha as she prepares for this new chapter in her career at Roscoe!” The release closed using the words “With Pride,” a variation on the company’s catchphrase noted in the headline above.
