TRSA’s Textile Services magazine recently was recognized for outstanding design and content with a Gold Award from the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (MarCom), according to a news release.

Founded in 1994, MarCom is comprised of several thousand creative professionals. The association oversees awards and recognition programs, provides judges and sets standards for excellence among entries to the competition, which draws contenders from corporate marketing and communications departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, design shops, production companies and freelancers.

Judges for the competition include industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talents exceed a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry. The 2023 competition drew more than 6,500 entries from across the U.S., Canada and 47 other countries worldwide.

Textile Services received a Gold Award in the Association/Magazine category. Senior Editor Jack Morgan said he and the publication staff were delighted to have their work recognized with the latest of nine such Gold Awards that the magazine has received since 2008. In 2013, Textile Services also received a Platinum Award, the highest such honor given in the competition. “We know that our magazine must offer outstanding value to laundry operators and supplier partners in the linen, uniform and facility services industry,” Morgan said. “We’re pleased and humbled to have our hard work recognized with this latest honor.”
