TRSA’s monthly magazine, Textile Services, recently was named a Gold Award winner in the annual MarCom Awards 2023 competition, according to a news release.

The MarCom Awards is an international creative challenge. The awards are designed to recognize outstanding achievement by marketing and communications professionals. Entries come from corporate marketing and communications departments, advertising agencies, public relations firms, design shops, production companies and other organizations, the release said.

The MarCom Award competition drew more than 6,500 entries in several categories. The Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals oversees the program. This includes the application and notification processes, judging the work of contestants and setting standards for excellence. Judges are industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry.

Textile Services was recognized in a category for association publications. Senior Editor Jack Morgan said he was grateful to TRSA advertisers, operators and association colleagues for ensuring that the magazine continues to thrive, despite rising postage costs and other challenges facing publications in the post-COVID-19 era. “We’re always glad to see the staff’s hard work recognized,” Morgan said. “We look forward to making even greater progress in 2024 and beyond.”
