Textile Services Wins APEX Award for Excellence
Textile Services magazine recently was recognized with a 2024 APEX Award for Excellence.
TRSA’s print magazine, which begins its 108th year of continuous monthly publication in September, was recognized in the category of “Magazines, Journals & Tabloids – Print (entire issue more than 32 pages, plus cover)”. The award is based on excellence in graphic design, editorial content and overall communications excellence, according to a news release.
Textile Services’ Senior Editor Jack Morgan said he was delighted to see the publication honored for excellence in its design and content. “It’s great for our staff to get recognition for the hard work and dedication that we and our association colleagues put into Textile Services,” Morgan said. “It’s our privilege to serve readers in the linen, uniform and facility services industry with a quality publication.”
The awards program, now in its 36th year, is sponsored by Communications Concepts Inc., Williamsburg, VA. The company advises publishing, PR and marketing professionals on best practices for improving their publications and communications programs. It also provides a panel of senior communications professionals who serve as judges for the competition. In addition to the awards program, Communications Concepts has published Writer’s Web Watch, the Writing that Works Archives and their predecessor publications since 1984, according to a news release.
The year’s awards’ program drew more than 1,100 entries in a wide range of categories for print and digital publications, newsletters and websites. For details, click www.apexawards.com.
