Textile Services magazine, the flagship publication of TRSA, recently was recognized with a 2015 APEX Award for Excellence in the category of magazines over 32 pages. This is the fifth consecutive year that Textile Services has received this award.

“We are always humbled to receive recognition from our peers in the trade magazine arena for the work that Textile Services does month in and month out,” said Senior Editor Jack Morgan. “Our thanks go to the organizers of this competition for selecting us, to the staff and designer Jacki Fink who produce the magazine, the advertisers who make it possible and most importantly our readers who’ve supported us since this publication launched in August 1917.”

The 27th Annual Apex Awards is a program designed to recognize excellence in publishing by communications professionals. The APEX Awards for Excellence are given in various categories based on outstanding quality in both graphic design and editorial content of print and online publications. A total of 1,900 entrants competed for these awards. A panel of judges comprised of communications professionals, including Ken Turtoro, marketing director for Shain+Oringer; and Bill Londino, consulting editor of Writer’s Web Watch, determined this year’s award winners

The APEX Awards is sponsored by Communications Concepts, a consulting firm based in Springfield, VA, that focuses on helping communicators write, edit and manage more effective business publications.
