The Hygienically Clean Food Safety certification program exhibited at the 2025 Food Safety Summit, held at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL, on May 12-15. The Summit brought together food-safety professionals from across the supply chain to address current challenges and share best practices through a robust educational program and dynamic expo floor.
The Hygienically Clean Food Safety certification was developed to meet the increasing demand for verified hygienic processing in laundries that serve the food manufacturing and processing industries. During the three-day summit, TRSA engaged with attendees on the importance of certified hygienically clean textiles in ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting hazard analysis and critical control point (HACCP) programs, and maintaining safe food-handling environments.
“Participating in the Food Safety Summit allowed us to connect with professionals across the industry and reinforce how certified laundry processes play a vital role in food-safety management systems,” said Samlane Ketevong, TRSA’s senior director of certification and accreditation. “As regulations and customer expectations continue to evolve, our certification helps laundries demonstrate their commitment to hygiene, risk reduction and continuous improvement.”
The Food Safety Summit is a premier, solution-driven event drawing key stakeholders from government agencies, regulatory bodies, academia, food production and service industries, legal counsel, laboratories, and more. TRSA was honored to take part in this vital gathering to promote greater awareness of textile hygiene in the broader conversation around food safety.
