TRSA’s Annual Conference kicked off in Napa, CA, with the CEO Summit, a first of its kind gathering of operator member CEOs to discuss linen, uniform and facility services industry trends and strategies in a facilitated, small-group setting. The CEO Summit was the continuation of a dialogue among roughly 40 industry leaders that began in the fourth quarter of 2025.
The overarching themes that participants discussed at the inaugural summit included:
- Technology adoption and investment.
- Industry consolidation, private-equity investment and competitive pressures.
- Rising customer expectations for service and data.
- Sustainable practices, ethics and organizational culture.
On Nov. 12, 2025, TRSA brought together 38 operator CEOs for a discussion focused on the future of the linen, uniform and facility services industry. The one-hour virtual event featured more than 55 one-on-one conversations among leaders representing TRSA’s diverse membership of independent operators, national and international companies serving various market segments. Participants shared candid insights on the key forces reshaping the decade ahead, including market shifts, workforce needs and accelerating technological change.
The insights from these confidential exchanges was incorporated into a new TRSA report titled “CEO Perspectives: Future of the Linen, Uniform and Facility Services Industry,” which served as the basis for the facilitated small-group discussions that took place at the TRSA Annual Conference & CEO Summit on May 12. The in-person session led to deeper face-to-face discussion among CEOs and peer exchange focused on long-term business strategy. The summit was facilitated by Association Laboratory President Dean West and Managing Director Nikki Golden.
