TRSA will launch a new fundraising campaign at the upcoming Clean Show in support of its foundation, culminating with the first-ever TRSA Foundation Day of Giving on Wednesday, Nov. 19. The campaign will rally the linen, uniform and facility services industry to give back by supporting education, workforce development and research through the Textile Rental Education and Research Trust (TRERT), TRSA’s 501(c)(3) nonprofit foundation. The goal: raise $20,000. All giving levels are welcome, and contributions are tax-deductible as allowed by law.

“This is the first time TRSA has launched a campaign focused on bringing the industry together to support industrywide research and scholarships,” said Joseph Ricci, CAE, TRSA president and CEO. “It’s a fun and meaningful way to invest in the next generation of talent and the ideas that will move us forward. Whether you’re giving to the foundation for the first time or continuing your support, your contribution will strengthen our community and make a real difference.”

Funds raised will support the foundation’s three core programs:

  • Scholarships – The foundation has awarded more than 20 scholarships – seven this year alone – to employees and immediate family members of TRSA member companies.
  • Internships – More than 30 students have gained real-world experience at TRSA member companies, thanks to foundation-funded internships.
  • Research – The foundation funds studies that provide insights for the industry, including the Global Textile Services Market Analysis with the Economist Intelligence Unit and an upcoming Economic Impact Study with Oxford Economics.
