The TRSA 15th Annual Legislative Conference and Annual Awards Dinner will take place in Washington, DC, on Feb. 5-6, 2025. This event offers members a unique opportunity to meet legislators in person, fostering relationships and educating them on key issues affecting the linen, uniform and facility services industry.
Prior to the start of the conference, a workshop for supplier-partner members titled “Performance Excellence Unleashed: Strategies for Success and Growth” will be led by Kaplan Mobray, a renowned motivational speaker and award-winning author. This session will allow supplier partners to collaborate and share insights in a non-competitive environment.
The conference will kick off with an afternoon of TRSA committee meetings, followed by an opening keynote address from A.B. Stoddard, a prominent columnist for The Bulwark and a contributor and guest host for SiriusXM’s POTUS channel. Stoddard will provide an insightful analysis of the political landscape and discuss the implications of the 2024 election results. Following the keynote, TRSA Vice President of Government Relations Kevin Schwalb will prepare attendees for their meetings on Capitol Hill, sharing the latest insights and talking points.
That evening, TRSA will celebrate industry creativity and excellence at its Industry Awards Reception and Dinner, recognizing the outstanding contributions of employees and leaders from both operator and supplier-partner member companies. Awards will include:
• Above and Beyond Service Award
• Best Plants of the Year Award
• Clean Green Innovation Award
• Company Community Service Award
• Diversity Recognition Award
• Fleet Graphics Award
• Legislator of the Year Award
• SafeTRSA Safety Excellence Award
• Video Award
• TRSA Volunteer Leadership Award
The following day, known as Laundry Hill Day, attendees will gather at the Capitol Hill Club for breakfast and a briefing before heading to congressional meetings. This year, TRSA has invited members and representatives from across the industry, including the Association for Linen Management (ALM), American Reusable Textile Association (ARTA), CSC Network and the Textile Care Allied Trades Association (TCATA) to join TRSA on the Hill.
“We reached out to other national associations to better represent the full depth and breadth of the industry and to enhance collaboration,” said TRSA President and CEO Joseph Ricci. “We look forward to uniting with these organizations to create a stronger, more cohesive voice for our sector.”
Registration is now open, and attendees can save $100 by registering before Dec. 21. For more information, visit www.trsa.org/legcon.
