TRSA is expanding the scope of its Sixth Annual Marketing, Sales & Service Summit, which will take place on Nov. 14 at The Peabody in Memphis, TN. For the first time, the summit will include service as a key component of the program, reflecting the importance of customer satisfaction and retention in the linen, uniform and facility services industry. This one-day event is designed to help textile rental professionals enhance their marketing, sales and service skills and strategies, and improve how they work together.

Ben Kniffen, CEO of Linked Selling, will lead the keynote address. “We will focus on sales techniques on how to place the right message, in front of the right person, through the right channels and how to develop a sales process that will tie everything together,” Kniffen said. Kniffen will utilize his deep sales experience and show attendees how to combine the best mix of LinkedIn, SEO, paid ads and other channels to create the most unbeatable omnichannel marketing campaigns.

A two-part breakout session titled, The Service Side of Sales and the Sales Side of Service, will provide a fresh perspective on how and why these two critical areas, sales and service, can work better together. Steve Royals and Ray Shabandarian, both from Performance Matters, will lead the session which will include a hands-on group exercise that will allow attendees to utilize and share best practices of an ideal installation process.

Other subject-matter expert speakers and panelists will share their insights and best practices on topics such as:

  • Becoming a Trusted Advisor: Three Keys to Creating Value-Based Customer Relationships
  • In-House or Outsourced: How to Make the Biggest Splash with Video Marketing
  • A panel discussion that features some of the top marketing talent across the linen, uniform and facility services industry

Back by popular demand is the “Best-of-the-Best” idea-sharing seminar. Throughout the day, attendees will have the opportunity to witness fellow attendees as they share their marketing and sales successes from the past year. Attendees will have the chance to score successful ideas and at the end will collectively select a winner who will take home a $250 Amazon gift card. Jeff Diehl from HandCraft Services, an attendee from last year’s summit, reiterated a common comment about the program, “The networking with others and learning their companies best practices and successes was invaluable.”

The summit is open to all TRSA members and nonmembers who are interested in learning how to grow their business and improve customer service. To promote companies to send representatives from sales, marketing and service, TRSA is offering a discount of $250 for every registration after the first two. Registration is open and further information is available at trsa.org/marketingsummit.
