TRSA Members’ Children Earn $2,500 TRERT Scholarships
Two students continuing their undergraduate studies and two incoming freshmen have received 2024 Merit-Based College Scholarships funded by the Textile Rental Education and Research Trust (TRERT). TRSA member company employees and their family members are eligible for this $2,500 scholarship.
Aagam Prakash, son of Asit Goel, UniFirst Corp. marketing VP, is studying finance and accounting at Emory University, Atlanta, anticipating a 2027 graduation. He was a Dean’s List student in his first year at Emory. Before arriving there, he led local efforts of the Teen Mental Health Initiative, an organization with chapters in 20 high schools across five states.
Joseph Pucciarelli, a Dean’s List student at Stony Brook (NY) University, brings a similar dedication to community service. He’s run fundraisers for causes including supporting kids with cancer. A student in biology, Pucciarelli has an eye toward cancer research. He anticipates graduating in 2026. Pucciarelli is the son of David Pucciarelli, Unitex Healthcare Laundry Services’ corporate engineer.
Jessica Glancey, Broomall, PA, is entering Clemson (SC) University to study biochemistry. She anticipates a 2028 graduation. The daughter of Dennis Glancey, a Domestic Uniform Rental GM, she repeatedly received distinguished honors in consecutive semesters throughout high school. She served as a Blue Key Ambassador and in the Service Corps in school. She competed on the varsity basketball and rowing teams.
Carson Keller, New Bremen, OH, an academic all-conference athlete (baseball, football, bowling), looks to 2028 graduation. He will attend Wright State University, Dayton, to study education. Keller has an FFA state degree, reflecting his dedication to agriculture and leadership. A member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, he’s the son of Mark Keller, business development manager, Miller’s Textile Services.
TRERT’s Merit-based College/Technical Institution scholarship program supports full-time employees of TRSA member companies, as well as their children and grandchildren, who study at an accredited college, university, or technical school.
