TRSA’s Healthcare Committee is launching an initiative to survey operators on trends affecting the healthcare textile industry. The survey, which will be sent to healthcare operators during the week of Sept. 25, will address six trend categories: financial, fleet management, automation and technology, labor, infection control, and certification and sustainability.

The survey is designed to “collect relevant information that will help us better understand and anticipate the changes and challenges in the industry,” said Samlane Ketevong, TRSA’s senior director of certification & accreditation and Healthcare Committee liaison. Operators will receive a Survey Monkey link to the 35 multiple-choice question survey.

The survey results will be presented by Chuck Rossmiller, senior director of national field sales for Medline Industries Inc. and chair of the TRSA Healthcare Committee, at the TRSA Healthcare Conference on Nov. 15 in Memphis, TN. “The objective is to use the survey data to spark a discussion among the healthcare industry about the emerging trends that impact us all,” Rossmiller said. “By working together and sharing our insights across the industry, we can better prepare ourselves to meet the needs of our customers.”

To help prepare attendees for the Healthcare Conference session in November, Rossmiller will host a webinar for the healthcare community prior to the conference. The webinar, slated for Oct. 19, will offer an overview of the trends seen across North America and will initiate a discussion of developments that are influencing the industry.
