M+A Matting, LaGrange, GA, recently announced the retirement of David Watterson, vice president of field and international sales, after 34 years of service to the industry.

Watterson will retire at the end of the year. Throughout his time at M+A Matting, Watterson has been the driving force behind the sales efforts for the textile rental business. He was instrumental in developing and implementing the company’s internship and management-training programs. These programs have developed the core leadership team that is in place today. During his tenure, he has served as plant manager, Midwest regional sales manager, VP of sales, and senior VP of textile rental & international sales.

Watterson’s last day with M+A Matting will be Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2024. Following his retirement, Levi Nix, the director of sales – textile rental, will manage Watterson’s former accounts.
