Program Coordinator

Full Time/Hybrid (Remote & In Office)

TRSA, the association for linen, uniform, and facility services, is seeking a Program Coordinator to join its committed, dynamic team. The Program Coordinator will assist in efforts relevant to TRSA’s company-wide Clean Green, facility-based Hygienically Clean and individual professional programs. The position is responsible for supporting the internal and external team including Senior Director, Administrator and external auditors to help ensure that the certification programs are following best practices in credentialing, and accreditation standards and following established policies, processes, and procedures. The position reports to the Senior Director of Certification and Accreditation.

The Program Coordinator requires a range of level skills to succeed in the role including:

  • Interpersonal – Identify and solve problems, resolve conflicts, and make fair decisions and communicate them to all stakeholders to build trust and establish open, collaborative communications.
  • Collaboration – Operate in team environments, brainstorm and communicate with colleagues, and conduct duties as a team.
  • Organization – Multitask and organize data from a variety of sources.  Must be very detail oriented.

Position Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee process and workflow for certification, recertification and audit processes, policies, and procedures, including communication with a variety of internal and external individuals,
  • Maintain and update a wide variety of manual and electronic documents, files, and records (e.g. certificates and/or licenses, performance evaluations, continuing education credits, etc.) ensuring timely information in accordance with established administrative guidelines.
  • Compile data from a wide variety of sources for the purpose of preparing reports, making recommendations, and/or preparing information for assigned administrator.
  • Assist the Senior Director with the certification program subject matter experts (SMEs) for standards development and revisions, audit, and professional.
  • Assist in the implementation of strategic and operational plans and objectives.
  • Assists in facilitating quarterly meetings (in-person and remote) for certification program committees, advisory groups, task forces and users’ groups.
  • Submit quarterly reports pertaining to activities, objectives, budget, and other activities
  • Review and maintain accurate records for all certification programs including appeals process and maintains certification and recertification data.
  • Assist in coordinating and scheduling audits and the completion of required certification audits reports based on pre-approved list of eligible companies including travel booking and “grouping of audits” to efficiently use time and resources.
  • Assist in the issuing of Corrective Action Requests (CARs) for warnings and non-compliance to the Standards issued by the Auditor.
  • Provide reports for leadership and others as requested and authorized.
  • Work collaboratively with other TRSA staff to ensure clarity for all communications and online information for stakeholders including marketing.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience and education

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 including knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat.

Salary Range

$55,000 – $65,000
