The GM Connections roundtable will enable participants to compare perspectives on increasingly contentious industry operations issues with those of a sampling of GMs from around the industry. GMs will see how their view of the issues contrasts with observations of specialists in other professions in linen, uniform and facility services. Attendees will get ideas for short-term tactics and long-term strategies for addressing the industry’s toughest management challenges.
Emphasis will be on coordinating the range of roles that comprise plant operations: jobs that serve customers from the office, plant and service center to their locations. You’ll ponder how GMs lead, follow, or get out of the way of their teams on:
Customer issues. Complaints, inventory control, invoicing/accounts receivable, sales prospecting, service agreements.
Legal/compliance. Accounting/financial standards, environmental, facility/infrastructure fleet-related.
