The Supplier Partner Council (SPC) acknowledges the importance of supplier partners’ expertise to the linen, uniform, and facility services industry. Valued and important to the association’s success, they voice their input in TRSA direction and strategy through the Council.

Current Projects

The industry’s performance in the COVID-19 pandemic reflected the strength of TRSA supplier partners in the supply chain that enabled the public to weather the adversity. Both TRSA member operators and suppliers were key players in serving essential businesses who serve the public. The SPC, through its Board of Directors, is working with other TRSA leadership groups to bolster already close working relationships between operators and supplier partners to further strengthen each other’s links in the reusable textile supply chain. The SPC voice is heard in setting strategy and tactics for TRSA advocacy, association priorities and networking, such as educational presentations on post-pandemic workforce structure, cybersecurity, logistics and more. Supplier-only events include a summer workshop and a future annual conference in addition to the one for operators and suppliers.

In perpetuity, the SPC supports management of other programs of specific interest to supplier partners, including advertising (Textile Services magazine and newsletters, TRSA websites, webinars), exhibitions (Executive Exchanges, Clean Shows) and sponsorship of professional development events. The SPC Board of Directors administers an annual Needs Assessment survey of supplier partners and nominates candidates for the Maglin-Biggie TRSA Lifetime Achievement Award, the highest honor for supplier partners.
