The TRSA Safety & Health Certification verifies that industry facilities voluntarily meet standards that consistently exceed basic OSHA requirements. Standards are based on a portion of the agency’s Voluntary Participation Program guidelines. The Summit session will familiarize industry managers with steps needed to achieve the certification. These include a self-audit that takes place before an auditor’s inspection, focused on:
- Training
- Awareness
- Compliance (employee, manager/supervisor, maintenance employee)
- Claims management
- Measurement
You’ll learn what auditors check on-site, including all of the above plus:
- Worker’s compensation
- Communication
- Recordkeeping
