TRSA’s Next-Generation Executives Network recently convened virtually to share information on managing change. The workshop, titled “Leading Your Team through Change and Identifying Industry Issues Driving Change,” was facilitated by Tom LaForce, the founder of LaForce Teamwork Services.
In the hour-long interactive session, attendees discussed the following topics:
- The common reasons people don’t immediately embrace change.
- Four roles leaders should play to help their team navigate any transition.
- Change management’s impact on project success.
- Principles you can immediately apply to be a better change leader.
The discussion from the Nov. 19 session will guide a deep-dive, half-day Next-Generation Executives Workshop on “How to Build Support for Your Key Initiatives.” The in-person workshop will take place on July 23, 2025, in Chicago and will include a networking outing at Wrigley Field, the home of the Chicago Cubs.
LaForce has been leading fast paced and productive meetings for more than 25 years. Since starting his training and consulting business in 1996, LaForce has been on a mission to create better leaders and stronger teams. For more information, visit www.laforceteamwork.com.
