TRSA recently announced the setting for its 111th Annual Conference & Exchange. Scheduled for Sept. 24-26, at the esteemed Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, Colo., the conference is set to be an exceptional event, gathering nearly 200 of the world’s most prominent leaders, including CEOs, senior executives and top-level managers. This unique occasion offers attendees the chance to enhance professional development, establish connections with industry vanguards and participate in interactive challenges and educational sessions – all in the grandeur of The Broadmoor.
Two keynotes will address the attendees. International bestselling author Jay Samit, a dynamic entrepreneur who is widely recognized as one of the world’s leading experts on disruption and innovation, will kick off the conference. The second keynote speaker, Kenny Aronoff’s experiences as a world-renowned drummer have been translated into powerful messages that resonate with a wide range of audiences, including corporate events, universities and organizations.
Two breakout sessions and several general sessions offer topics ranging from succession planning to safety excellence to organized labor trends, and more.
Ample time has been made available for attendees to utilize their free time with all The Broadmoor has to offer including the TRSA Golf Classic, a spirited shotgun-style tournament that promises an afternoon of strategic play and friendly rivalry amidst the breathtaking Pikes Peak scenery. Pickleball Palooza invites participants to showcase their prowess in a dynamic game of pickleball, offering a clinic for all levels to sharpen their skills before the match. Both events are perfect for bonding with peers and reveling in the competitive spirit.
A vibrant array of activities for spouses and partners has been planned, kicking off with a Welcome Reception to reconnect and meet new friends. Morning yoga and breakfast, a fun-filled cupcake decorating competition, and a private cooking class with Celebrity Chef Brother Luck are just a few of the activities available for guests of attendees.
At the black-tie optional Lifetime Achievement Awards Dinner and Reception, which will be held the last night of the conference, attendees will celebrate the industry with TRSA’s top awards that recognize the volunteer contributions of both operator and supplier partner members. The 2024 Operator Lifetime Achievement award, honoring James Buik, president, Roscoe Co., Chicago, and the Maglin/Biggie TRSA Lifetime Achievement award honoring Phill Hart, president, Kannegiesser ETECH, Minneapolis, will be presented at the event. Winners are peer-selected and represent individuals who have made a positive impact on both the industry and the association.
