Gunderson Uniform & Linen hosted a groundbreaking ceremony to celebrate the start of construction on its new linen and uniform processing facility in Neenah, WI.

The project represents a significant investment in the company’s future and its continued commitment to serving healthcare, hospitality, food service and industrial customers throughout Wisconsin. The new 65,000-square-foot facility, featuring a precast concrete and structural steel design, is being built to support Gunderson’s continued growth, and maximize both current and future laundering capacity.

The expanded facility will allow Gunderson to increase processing efficiency, enhance quality control, support future automation initiatives and create additional capacity to meet growing customer demand across Wisconsin. The project also is designed to support the company’s long-term sustainability goals and commitment to operational excellence.

Local elected officials, community leaders, project partners, customers and members of the media attended the ceremony, which was held on July 16 at 1712 Dixie Road in Neenah. The new Neenah facility, which is scheduled to open in May 2027, will replace Gunderson’s former location in downtown Menasha, WI.

“It was a clear choice to partner with Neenah,” said Doug Gunderson, president of Gunderson Uniform & Linen. “Between the geography, the way the City of Neenah treats businesses and it’s close to our current workforce. Everything came together and it made a lot of sense.”
