Haffner Joins Ellis as VP of Sales

Ellis Corp., Itasca, IL, has named Tom Haffner as the company’s vice president of sales. Haffner is a seasoned sales executive specializing in driving growth and building strategic partnerships in the industrial sector.

Haffner will lead Ellis efforts to identify new opportunities for delivering Ellis water solutions available with Uptime®, a first-of-its-kind IoT (internet of things) platform that goes beyond data, diagnostics and alerts to provide remarkably precise troubleshooting and repair guidance directly to operators on the production floor. “Uptime is a trailblazing, actionable IoT that can deliver measurable value across industrial water and laundry KPIs,” Haffner said. “It represents a turning point for companies at the water-energy nexus. We’re going to ensure Ellis customers derive the maximum value of Uptime in their facilities.”

Prior to joining Ellis, Haffner held executive business-development roles at Veolia North America and Xylem, leading both companies to achieve target growth objectives. He also led large projects to successful completion at Nalco Water, an Ecolab Co.
