Hr Björkman’s Entrémattor AB, headquartered in Arlöv in southern Sweden, recently acquired Söderbergs Mattleasing AB in Stockholm. The deal marks another milestone in Hr Björkman’s strategic growth plan and strengthens the company’s presence in Stockholm, according to a news release.
Hr Björkman’s environmental focus will gradually be applied to the new operations in Stockholm. The company has won the prestigious European environmental award, the EMAS Awards, and most recently, the ETSA Awards for sustainability and its self-developed water-recycling system.
Hr Björkman’s is specialized in the mat-rental business and operates in Skåne, Småland, Blekinge, Halland, Östergötland, Stockholm, Gothenburg, Norrbotten and Poland. Through the acquisition, Hr Björkman’s strengthens its customer base further, and gains a stronger position and expanded service in Stockholm.
Söderbergs Mattleasing, founded in 1986 by Sture and Roger Söderberg, has established itself as a reliable and stable player in the Swedish linen, uniform and facility services industry. Roger Söderberg has been running the company since 1996. The company has built a customer base of around 400 clients.
“The acquisition of Söderbergs Mattleasing is a strategic and exciting development for Hr Björkman,” says CEO Carl-Johan Björkman. “It not only allows us to strengthen our presence in the crucial Stockholm area but also to benefit from the complementary expertise and resources that Söderbergs Mattleasing has built up over the years.”
