K-Bro Linen recently celebrated the graduation of three supervisors from the latest LevelUp Supervisory Skills Training program.
These graduates, who collectively bring an average of 15 years of linen, uniform and facility services industry experience, found the program immensely beneficial. Their positive feedback has inspired K-Bro management to launch a dedicated K-Bro cohort of the LevelUp program, set to begin at the end of January. This new cohort will include 19 participants from 10 different plants, reflecting K-Bro’s commitment to continuous professional development.
The LevelUp Supervisory Skills Training program enhances the skills of new and current supervisors in commercial laundry plants. It covers essential skills like communication, problem-solving, decision-making, team building and conflict resolution. Participants learn to motivate teams, set goals and provide feedback, with a focus on safety, quality and productivity. Through ten 45-minute modules, interactive exercises and case studies, they develop practical strategies to positively impact their teams and operations.
The 2025 plan includes six new session start dates: Jan. 7, March 5, May 6, May 13, Aug. 26 and Oct. 14. These dates are open to operators from across the industry, with the May 13 session offered in Spanish. Chris Stammer, who oversees the LevelUp program, says that, “At LevelUp, we understand the diverse needs of our clients. That’s why we offer both cross-industry training programs and company-dedicated cohorts. This flexibility allows us to tailor our training to meet the specific challenges and goals of each organization, ensuring maximum impact and effectiveness.”
