K-Bro Linen Inc., Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, announced that the chair of its board of directors will move on from his current post.
Michael Percy, the chair of the board of directors, will retire from the company’s board and not seek re-election at K-Bro’s upcoming Annual General Meeting, scheduled for June 3. Percy has served on the board since 2015.
“On behalf of the board and K-Bro, I would like to thank Michael for his valuable contributions over the years and wish him all the best in the future,” said Linda McCurdy, K-Bro president and CEO.
In addition to the board member that was appointed in November 2025, K-Bro is seeking an additional director to serve on its board. Immediately following the meeting, the board will elect a new chair.
K-Bro’s operations in Canada include 11 processing facilities and one distribution center in nine Canadian cities: Québec City, Montréal, Toronto, Regina, Saskatoon, Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver and Victoria. The company’s operations in the UK include five distinctive brands, including Fishers Topco Ltd., which was acquired by K-Bro in November 2017; Shortridge Ltd., which was acquired by K-Bro in April 2024; and three brands acquired through the acquisition of Stellar Mayan Ltd., previously known as Star Mayan Ltd., in June 2025.
