Pfeiffer has made procurement a more connected and responsive function, according to a news release announcing the promotion. He uses data and technology to guide purchasing decisions, improving efficiency and lead times to better serve Mission and its customers.

“Mark is a talented professional, respected by our industry partners and a dedicated team member within Mission,” said John Ross, president and CEO, Mission Linen Supply. “He brings a strategic perspective that helps Mission build a bigger, better and stronger company.”

In his new role, Pfeiffer will lead Mission’s procurement, distribution and vendor relations functions, advancing strategic sourcing and technology initiatives that support operational excellence, customer service and sustainable growth.

“Mark has a unique ability to connect vendor expertise with the needs of our internal teams,” said Tony Mancuso, vice president of finance and CFO, Mission Linen Supply. “He leads through collaboration, turns insight into action and creates value throughout the organization.”

Before joining Mission, Pfeiffer was purchasing director at KCDA Procurement Cooperative in Seattle, where he oversaw competitive solicitations for more than $850 million in annual spend. He holds a doctorate and a master’s degree from the University of Georgia and is a Certified Supply Chain Professional through the Association for Supply Chain Management.
