PMI: TRSA Extends Deadline for Scholarship Applications

TRSA has extended the application deadline for the Bill Mann Production Management Institute (PMI) Scholarship to June 30, giving employees of TRSA member companies additional time to apply for financial assistance to attend the industry’s leading production and operations management training program.

The scholarship covers Year 1 tuition for the 36th Annual Production Management Institute (PMI), which will be held Nov. 2-5 at the DoubleTree Hotel Dallas Near the Galleria in Dallas, Texas.

For more than three decades, PMI has helped new and experienced managers strengthen their understanding of production management principles while developing the leadership, communication and operational skills needed to improve plant performance. The comprehensive program combines four days of intensive classroom instruction with self-paced online learning and a second four-day classroom session the following year.

PMI is designed for production and plant managers, supervisors, engineers, general managers and other professionals seeking to improve operational performance while advancing their careers. Participants gain practical tools they can immediately apply to improve productivity, strengthen workforce performance and support more efficient plant operations, while building a network of peers from across the linen, uniform and facility services industry.

Upon completion of the program’s classroom and online learning components, participants are eligible to earn the Certified Professional Laundry Manager (CPLM) designation, a respected credential that demonstrates mastery of industry best practices and management principles.

The scholarship is named in honor of Bill Mann, a longtime PMI instructor whose six decades of service to the linen, uniform and facility services industry helped shape generations of plant managers and operational leaders.
