PureStar, Las Vegas, recently announced the acquisition of certain assets of Chickasaw Laundry Service in Ardmore, OK. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Previously owned and operated by the Chickasaw Nation, the 20,000-square-foot facility provides laundry services to the Chickasaw Nation’s hotels, casinos and related properties. The plant will now operate under the name Five Star Laundry, and will expand service to outside customers in Oklahoma and northern Texas, while providing redundancy for Five Star’s Dallas plant.

PureStar now operates 36 facilities in key markets throughout the U.S., and internationally in Cancun, Mexico; and Nassau, Bahamas. PureStar is backed by the private-equity firm Cornell Capital.
