Industry representatives will gather for the annual Laundry Hill Day on Feb. 10-11, 2027, in Washington, DC, to meet with lawmakers and their staff to discuss policies that support the linen, uniform and facility services industry. For the third consecutive year, Laundry Hill Day will bring together members from six organizations to speak with one voice on behalf of the industry’s businesses, employees and customers.

Through meetings with members of Congress and their staff, participants will share firsthand perspectives on the industry’s contributions to the U.S. economy, including the essential support it provides to businesses and entities in healthcare, construction, manufacturing, public safety, food and hospitality, and other vital sectors. According to the most recent data, the linen, uniform and facility services industry supports 304,000 jobs nationwide and contributes $37.3 billion to U.S. gross domestic product (GDP).

Laundry Hill Day unites members of TRSA, the Association for Linen Management (ALM), the American Reusable Textile Association (ARTA), CSCNetwork, the International Association for Healthcare Textile Management (IAHTM) and the Textile Care Allied Trades Association (TCATA). Together, the organizations will bring a unified industry voice to Capitol Hill, highlighting the policies and priorities that directly affect linen, uniform and facility services businesses and their customers.

In preparation for these discussions, the six participating associations recently surveyed nearly 100 industry executives to better understand the federal policy issues they want to emphasize on Capitol Hill. That input will help shape Laundry Hill Day discussions, including a focus on expanding the use of reusable healthcare textiles and advancing tax policies that incentivize investment in the facilities, equipment and technologies that support the industry’s continued growth.

“Laundry Hill Day has shown that when our industry comes together and engages directly with lawmakers, we can make a real difference,” said Joseph Ricci, TRSA’s president & CEO. “Our collective efforts have helped advance shared priorities and deliver meaningful results for the employers, employees and customers we represent. By bringing a unified voice to Capitol Hill, we can ensure our industry’s perspectives are heard and strengthen our ability to inform policies that matter. I look forward to building on this year’s momentum in 2027.”

Laundry Hill Day will take place in conjunction with TRSA’s 17th Annual Legislative Conference & Industry Awards Dinner. Members of the participating associations are encouraged to take part and help ensure that the industry’s experience, perspectives and priorities are represented in discussions shaping federal policy.
