TRSA has finalized a new collection of state fact sheets designed to strengthen the linen, uniform and facility services industry’s advocacy efforts at both the state and federal levels.
The one-page, downloadable resource translates industry data into a clear, localized story, showing policymakers how industrial laundry companies create jobs, generate economic activity and support businesses and institutions in their communities. Each fact sheet includes state-specific information on the industry’s economic and workforce contributions, along with a list of companies operating in the state.
The fact sheets also demonstrate the industry’s essential role in serving healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing, food service and other critical sectors. By highlighting both the industry’s direct footprint and its broader economic impact, the documents provide a more complete picture of its value to each state.
TRSA members can use these resources during legislative meetings, facility tours, industry events and other outreach opportunities. Presenting lawmakers with concise data from their own states and districts can help make the industry’s policy priorities more relevant while strengthening relationships with elected officials and their staff.
With a consistent resource now available for every state, TRSA and its members will be better equipped to communicate the industry’s economic importance, educate policymakers and support advocacy initiatives throughout the year.
