To increase opportunities for members to connect and share industry information, trends and solutions, TRSA professional-development efforts in 2024 include expanded virtual programming options: webinars, roundtables and issue forums.
The 2024 calendar includes 10 webinar (virtual seminar) topics. Notable among them: insights into the audits for TRSA’s Hygienically Clean and Health & Safety certifications, and reports on government-relations developments.
Additional topics for roundtables include fleet operations; human resources; information technology; marketing, sales and service; maintenance; production; and safety. In addition to airing a variety of perspectives on pressing concerns and opportunities, these aim to foster personal relationships. They will encourage information-sharing in other ways, such as TRSA in-person events, podcasts, webinars and recommended reading in Textile Services magazine and e-news and other media.
Compared with more structured roundtable discussions, new virtual open forums will facilitate more user-generated content, encouraging members to engage in open discussions on topics of their choice in the subject areas above, posing questions to other members.
