On Aug. 14, U.S. Linen & Uniform, Richland, WA, marked its 80th anniversary. The company got its start on Aug. 14, 1944, as Richland Laundry & Dry Cleaning after Harvey Stoller won the bid to provide laundry service to the government town of Richland.

The roots of U.S. Linen & Uniform in the linen, uniform and facility services industry go back even further to 1901 when John Stoller, Harvey’s father, purchased a laundry and dry cleaner in Walla Walla, WA. That business became the Stoller Cleaning Club and then later became the Pantorium Cleaners. Harvey Stoller worked there until he started Richland Laundry & Dry Cleaning.

Today, U.S. Linen & Uniform is still family owned by Harvey’s grandson, Rick Snyder, and his great grandson, Drew Snyder.
