The TRSA events calendar for 2025 has expanded to include three types of virtual events: six webinars, two virtual summits (a series of three sessions spread out over a three-month period) and 12 network connections, which are targeted virtual roundtables that allow information sharing on specific topics in small groups.
The first virtual summit will cover HR topics from 1-2:15 p.m. ET on Sept. 9, Oct. 7 and Nov. 4. There also will be a Health & Safety virtual series on Sept. 16, Oct. 9 and Nov. 6. Each of the summits will provide:
- Industry-specific presentations
- Award-winning ideas from other industries
- Interactive panel discussions with leaders in the linen, uniform and facility services industry
Six webinars have been scheduled throughout the year. Three will dive into the findings of benchmark reports based on surveys of TRSA members, each will focus on a specific topic: safety, sustainability and industry performance. A healthcare trends webinar will cover the results of a trends study being developed by the healthcare committee. Information technology (IT) webinars will focus on IT Disaster Recovery in mid-April and AI 101, which will cover AI in the laundry industry for beginners, planned for mid-June.
TRSA introduced Network Connections in 2024, a step beyond a roundtable where attendees gather with interest in a specific topic. TRSA’s virtual connections on Zoom offer the experience of dynamic networking similar to small, face-to-face meetings. These sessions bring together a diverse group of participants, from owners and presidents to managers and staff, creating a vibrant environment for idea exchange and collaboration. These free discussions are a great way for management to include their staff and use for training and information sharing without leaving the office.
