Leading Your Team Through Change and Identifying Factors Driving Industry Change

When making significant changes, most of the effort goes into deciding what the solution should be and then doing the development work. In the excitement of building something new, leaders often forget about the people who the change will impact. When we don’t effectively engage stakeholders early and often, we make the transition harder for everyone. By using proven change management techniques, you will prevent problems and more quickly achieve your business objectives.

In this interactive session, we will explore:

  • The common reasons people don’t immediately embrace change.
  • 4 roles leaders should play to help their team navigate any transition.
  • Change management’s impact on project success.
  • Principles you can immediately apply to be a better change leader.

We will also identify common industry-specific changes and learn from one another’s experience. This discussion will help guide a deep-dive, half-day Next Generation Executives Workshop on How to Build Support for Your Key Initiatives in July in which we’ll apply change management techniques to our shared change challenges.

Facilitated by Tom LaForce Founder, LaForce Teamwork Services and Joe Ricci, CEO, TRSA. Tom LaForce has been leading fast paced and productive meetings for more than 25 years. Since starting his training and consulting business in 1996, Tom has been on a mission to create better leaders and stronger teams. Learn how Tom can help your organization at laforceteamwork.com.
