Crothall Laundry Services (CLS) recently announced the launch of its newest facility in Columbia, SC. Spanning 50,000 square feet, the facility uses the latest laundry technology and adds 15 million lbs. of annual processing capacity. This project represents one of multiple ongoing expansions, according to a news release.
Key highlights of the CLS Columbia facility include:
- Advanced Processing: The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art processing and finishing equipment.
- Increased Production Capacity and Redundancy: 15 million lbs. of additional capacity, which will support the needs of Crothall clients and provide additional redundancy in the region.
- Efficiency and Sustainability: CLS remains committed to sustainability and energy efficiency. This facility incorporates processes that reduce water consumption and lower the company’s carbon footprint. This facility is a TRSA Hygienically Clean operation.
- Strategic Location: The facility’s strategic location offers improved logistical advantages, enabling CLS to streamline distribution and delivery to customers in the region.
“We are excited to grow our footprint in the Carolinas, adding processing capacity and further redundancy in the region,” said Mike Barner, Crothall Laundry Services CEO. “This project was one of three expansions completed in the Southeast region over the past 12 months and represents our ongoing commitment to support the needs of our healthcare clients.”
