Fifteen TRSA member operators have been honored with the association’s 2024 Fleet Graphics Award. The accolade acknowledges them for how their chosen images and text reflect their companies’ key attributes as linen, uniform and facility services providers. These qualities could include sustainability, hygiene, service timeliness, textile durability … whatever qualities of the organization the company seeks to portray.

Four companies received Gold recognition in this TRSA Industry Awards category:

Alsco Uniforms, Salt Lake City

The company’s new “Green” fleet is integral to its historic branding. Founded in 1889, the color then adorned handcarts and wagons, and, later, other vehicles. The new look intends to bring back the green in a bold new style, projecting character and competence, demonstrating to customers “It Pays to Keep Clean.”

Medico Healthcare Linen Service, Los Angeles

Designs are adapted to various classes of vehicles promoting the brand and upholding the family business approach. Top priority is to ensure the business name is simple yet bold enough to be read from any angle from which you can see the vehicles: back door, passenger side panels and driver side panels.

Mickey’s Linen, Chicago

Dominant blue and green reflect eco-friendly practices; clean, minimalist design conveys trustworthiness and reliability. The logo imitates a spinning wheel, reinforces the circular nature of linen and uniform service and highlights “Professional Service. Personal Touch.” to communicate the core offering in just four words.

Wagg’s Linen & Uniform, Orillia, Ontario, Canada

The company celebrated 120 years of business with a truck redesign that says “GOT MATS?” on the front of all 12 route trucks. The black and bold theme features Canadian white and red accents with the leaf representing the company’s independent ownership. Includes website URL with QR code.

Silver level winners are:

  • HLS Linen Services, Ottawa, ON. Designed to build perception of linen as clean, well organized, high quality and comfortable.
  • Prudential Overall Supply, Irvine, CA. Blue and white project a modern and vibrant corporate image; flowing, upswept lines outlining the logo reflect simplicity and cleanliness.
  • Sohn Linen Service, Lansing, MI. Purple, the company color since the 1950s, conveys royalty (and quality). Adorned with over 20,000 lights, gets attention in city’s Silver Bell parade.
  • U.S. Linen & Uniform, Richland, WA. Logo consists of star separated from ribbon, akin to textiles through flatwork ironer. Star contains circle representing roller. Evokes U.S. flag waving in wind.

Honorable mentions went to:

  • CITY Healthcare, Pine City, MN
  • Gallagher Uniform, Battle Creek, MI
  • Huebsch Services, Eau Claire, WI
  • ImageFIRST, King of Prussia, PA
  • MediCleanse, Renton, WA

Presentation of this 2024 accolade will be among 10 award categories celebrated at the Annual Industry Awards Dinner at TRSA’s 14th Annual Legislative Conference, hosted at Washington’s Madison Hotel. Attendees will prepare for these Capitol Hill visits on the afternoon of April 10, which will feature the keynote address by Bob Cusack, editor in chief, The Hill Newspaper.
