Cintas Philly Earns VPP Safety Honors

Cintas Corp. recently announced that its facility in West Philadelphia, PA, has received the Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) Star certification from the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

“It is an honor and privilege to work beside our fantastic employee-partners in achieving VPP Star,” said Jon Baker, general manager. “This team is passionate about coming to work to serve our customers in the Philadelphia area safely every day.”

VPP Star is the highest recognition for the practice and commitment to exemplary occupational safety and health. The West Philadelphia location, which employs 162 people, is the 43d Cintas facility in the United States to receive VPP Star designation since 2011.

Cintas has almost 300 facilities worldwide that are actively pursuing VPP recognition by OSHA or the equivalent certifying body. This includes the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Honduras. Click here for details.
