Wildman Business Group, Warsaw, IN, recently held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for a new depot in nearby Ft. Wayne that will help the company service nearly 1,000 customers with products such as rental uniforms, mats and facility services products. The 5,000-square-foot Ft. Wayne facility – located about an hour east of Warsaw – will employ 10 people to start.

“Yes, this is a depot location,” said CEO Josh Wildman in response to an e-mail inquiry from Textile Services Weekly about the opening on April 18. “This is part of our strategic plan.”

Wildman said a second plant may be in the works as well, but that’s several years off. For now, in addition to opening the Ft. Wayne depot, Wildman is in the process of implementing a $3 million renovation of its Warsaw plant to support the company’s growth, including its Winona Services subsidiary. That division provides rest room supplies and other goods, along with advice to other laundries on how they can sell these accounts.

In all, the Wildman group includes five companies that provide a diverse mix of products/services. In addition to Winona Services, they include:

  • Uniform & Linen
  • Facility Services: including cleaning supplies and first-aid goods
  • Imprint: customer apparel and promotional items
  • You the Fan: providers of the Sportula® grilling spatula, which has major sports team logos cut into the metal, and other sports-related products.
