Bartsch Elected Treasurer of TRSA Board

TRSA recently hosted the swearing-in of new officers and directors on Oct. 22 during the business meeting at its 107th Annual Conference in Alexandria, VA. Randy Bartsch, chairman and CEO of Ecotex Healthcare Linen Service, Vancouver, was elected treasurer.

Bartsch is an entrepreneur, businessman and the founder, chair and CEO of Ecotex, a major provider of healthcare laundry and linen services to hospitals, sub-acute and medical facilities in Canada as well as the mid-west, northwest and southwestern regions in the United States.

Bartsch has chaired past TRSA Healthcare Conferences (2012-’14) and is a past chair of the Healthcare Committee. He is a current member of the Hygienically Clean Advisory Board and a member of the Executive Committee of the TRSA Board of Directors.

Away from the industry, Bartsch was a global governance leader with the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) and remains an active member in its alumni organization. In 2013, he was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal, in recognition of his community service and philanthropy in his home country of Canada.
